Fred, who works at the ad agency Leo Burnett Madrid, always wanted a tattoo but never knew what he wanted to permanently display on his body. He finally decided to get a QR code in order to show any content he wanted. His ad agency decided it was a great opportunity to capitalize on this new “media space,” and they opened up this space to bidding. The company with the highest bid gets to be the first business to advertise on Fred’s arm. The website says the bidding was to close on April 29th, but there’s still no word yet about the highest bidder… and it looks like the bidding is still up and running!

In all honesty, I’m not really one for Facebook or Smartphone games. I don’t “get” Farmville, and I’ve seen (but never tried) my kids play Angry Birds, and that’s generally the extent of my first-hand, game-app knowledge. Except when it comes to one game: Words With Friends.
